Bolton site benefits from the Wareing touch

Just as one on-site refurbishment completes and your investment comes to fruition, it’s natural to consider updating more of your premises to bring it in line with the same standard of quality as your most recent update.

That’s what happened when Wareing Buildings was appointed to erect a lean-to extension for a printing facility; our team’s brief continued expanding, and eventually lead to 12 months’ worth of projects.

Initially, we were appointed to erect a lean-to extension to help the client expand its premises. Impressed with the quality of service and delivery, the client then tasked our team with installing hard standings to facilitate a new printing machine.

Job done, and we were next asked to transform an open canopy by using roof and side cladding to create an additional extension. We provided partition walls, a new floor slab, new doors and some gantry steelwork to support the building’s pipe work. We also provided an internal steel frame which would be finished with glazing to create a ‘vision room’ – where visitors can see the printing machinery at work – and extended the company’s car park.

“There were some challenges during the project, as there were lots of employees and other suppliers we needed to work around, and we faced a tight timescale – which got tighter as every new job got added. But the client was fantastic to work with and we were able to communicate freely to ensure the extended project could be delivered as seamlessly as possible.”
