Industrial Units, Dalton in Furness

Development of new industrial units, at the time of the photograph the far left unit had been let to a horse food supplier. Being in a sensitive area, the planners requested that the sides and ends were built primarily in stone and render, this was carried out by another contractor, but demonstrates the flexibility of steel frame construction. We supplied the steel portal frame, the roof cladding and a strip of vertical cladding at the front, above the doors. The cladding is in insulated composite sheets, with PVC coated box profile outer skin and smooth white inner skin.
